that they can no longer use. From that came The Gift of Lift charitable program.

 Gift of Lift bra donation program allows for our patients and the 
community to donate their slightly used bras or new bras to a good

Yesterday morning marked the 7th procedure at Hospital Adventiste for a young girl named Miranda.  Her right leg had been fractured in the earthquake and since that time, she has been here for nearly six months.  She is a model of bravery.

The morning began with a visit to the OR for a ped's case and we then moved into the patient floors for more rounding. She was a young girl of twelve years and had been struck in the face by a large concrete boulder.  The result of the family's house collapsing from damage sustained in the earthquake.  Her five year old brother was also struck in the head.  The Plastics team rushed down to the OR for emergency surgery to repair her face.
